That research culminated in his book “On the Beaten Track, A History of Stansted Mountfitchet” which was published by the Society in 2016.

Library Catalogue
The History Society Library is held and managed by the librarians, Janice and Ken McDonald.
Members may borrow books from the Library for a month, usually from one monthly meeting until the next.
The Library Catalogue contains a full listing of the Library collection.
The alphabetical listing includes the book title (in bold type) and also other key words about each book’s subject matter (in lighter type). The entry for the book title generally gives the author’s name and number of pages, whilst the entry for a key word gives the book title only. Each entry shows the Library reference number.
Any member who wishes to borrow a book (or books) should contact Janice or Ken, giving your name and telephone number and quoting the reference number and title of the book required. The librarians will endeavour to make it available for the member at the next meeting.
A selection of books, including recent acquisitions, will be on display and available to borrow at most monthly meetings, but these will be only a fraction of all the books available.
